- Click “archived events” at top of webcast centre homepage
- Scroll down list of folders and click “rehab nursing certification”
- Scroll down again, this time to the very bottom of the page to see the full list of webcasts and click on a webcast
- If a login screen pops up, press cancel
- Click on the Windows Media icon and press cancel on the login screen if it pops up again. The webcast should now load and run.

Details: On April 8, 2010, CARN sponsored an educational event for staff at GF Strong Rehab Centre as well as the rehab staff at Nanaimo General Hospital (via telehealth). The event was well-received and attended by over 50 nurses, and allied health. In an effort to bring educational opportunities to all its members, CARN recorded this session to be available on www.carn.ca
Objectives for this session were:
- Define sexuality and sexual health
- Determine relevance of sexuality to our client population
- Recognize ways to identify and address sexual health concerns using:
- Sexual Assessment Framework
- PLISST model
- strategies for talking about sex
